Inside the Mind of a Creator: Richard Dyson Series

Richard Dyson is one of my most favorite series that I have created. With it I've created two spin-offs, The Beginning of Vampire Chronicles and Vampire Chronicles, Which can be found in separate archives. This series consists of five stories: Richard Dyson and the Vampires, Richard Dyson and the Valors / Aaron and the Midnight Moon, Richard Dyson and the Dark Spirits, Ingus Spardon - The Warrior, and Richard Dyson and the Twilight.

Richard Dyson and the Vampires is the first story in the Richard Dyson Series. This story begins the saga with Richard learning who he is and him accepting his new destiny.

Richard Dyson is a Seventeen-year-old who has an associates in applied science and isn't sure what to do with himself next. He lives with his aunt, Linda, in California (His parents are deceased, cause unknown) and she takes care of him like he's her son. Richard receives a letter from a private school in London called Vlankerstein's Private School of London. Richard is very skeptical at first about the school, until he finds out his father graduated from the school. Richard decides to give the school a shot and is off to London. Once there, He meets Larq (a prefect at the school, and Richard's mentor), and they both head to the school. After a series of events, Richard finds out that he is a Vampire Slayer from a line of slayers in his family, known famously as the most powerful slayers of all time. But, Richard is the only living Dyson family slayer and has no supernatural abilities (as his family did). But all the while, an evil group of vampires are plotting to attack and kill the students at the school. Richard must choose to accept his new destiny or not before it's too late.

Richard Dyson and the Valors / Aaron and the Midnight Moon is the second story Richard Dyson Series. These two stories are stand alone stories, but they intertwine creating a full story. This covers Richard learning his new abilities and introduces a new main character to the series, Aaron. The first part of the story is about Richard meeting the Valor brothers and the second part is about Aaron, a young man who lives in London and has a "mental problem" (Aaron's story is also narrative).

Richard Dyson and the Valors

After Richard accepts his destiny as a Vampire Slayer, Larq starts Richard's slayer training. But once they begin, the two encounter Eznami, Raheim, and Nioman Valor (Clarthes younger brothers). The three capture Larq, leaving Richard alone in the forest with abilities that he isn't quite sure he knows how to use. Richard must go through the forest and fight the three Valors one by one and save Larq.

Aaron and the Midnight Moon

Aaron is twenty one years old and he has a problem. A problem that he has be labeled under his entire life. His problem is he is cursed by a disease called Midnight Dementia. Every night at midnight, Aaron enters a demented state of mind and kills unnecessarily. Aaron is aware of his problem, but he can't stop himself. Then he meets a young woman named Alyssa, that wants to help him through his disease and find a cure for it. But all the while, the Valors (Eznami, Raheim, and Nioman) are plotting to use Aaron for evil and have him join the Valors. Aaron must find a cure for his disease and stop the Valors from taking his soul.

Richard Dyson and the Dark Spirits is the third story in the Richard Dyson Series. It covers Richard and Larq fighting to keep the school open, Aaron attending Vlankerstein's Private School in London, and introduces Dralca and Niama Valor.

Richard is now eighteen and has to grow up fast. Recently, Richard has been having terrible migraines at midnight and doesn't know why. And due to certain events, Larq now has to take role of Vlankerstein's Private School and Richard must take his role as head prefect in order to keep the School open. To make things more difficult, Richard must mentor a new student with a problem, Aaron. And for some odd reason, whenever Aaron enters Midnight Dementia, Richard has his terrible migraines; but they have now gotten worse. And deep in the darkness, Dralca and Niama Valor are finishing a dark project where their brothers left off and will stop at nothing to succeed in their evil plot. Secrets are revealed as a new evil being rises known as the Dark Spirits.

Ingus Spardon - The Warrior is the fourth story in the Richard Dyson Series. It introduces two new characters to the series: Ingus Spardon and Sapphire Tsukino, but mainly is the back story of Ingus Spardon.

Eighteen year old Ingus Spardon is a young man who comes from a line of warriors known as the Spardon Clan. Ingus lives in Black Core City with his grandfather due to tragic events that shattered his entire family, leaving him and his grandfather as the only living Spardons. The Valors see Ingus as a threat, so they create a plan to destroy him. Ingus trains himself and becomes a cold hearted warrior killing evil and protecting the innocent. Then he meets Sapphire Tsukino, a young girl he went to school with who tries to get him to soften his heart. But when the Valors realize Ingus determination to defeat them, they release their strongest to defeat him. Join Ingus and Sapphire as they journey to stop the Valors from taking over.

Richard Dyson and the Twilight is the fifth and final story in the Richard Dyson Series. It covers Richard and Aaron as they embrace their new destiny and introduces the Vampire Clan known as the Twilights.

After a series of events, Richard and Aaron now know their destiny and decide to go on a journey together to fight evil. But right when the are about to walk into the sunset, it freezes as the moon is also half way up, causing permanent twilight. Then the two meet a vampire clan known as the Twilights, who want the world to stay in twilight at all times. This cause the vampires to go into a frenzy making them more powerful than ever before. Richard and Aaron must work together and stop the Twilights before the world stays in twilight forever.

This story ends the series and continues it in it's spin-off, The Beginning of Vampire Chronicles (TV Series).
